Mark of Distinction Award

The Pennbrook Mark of Distinction Award will honor Pennbrook Middle School Alumni and former staff members who have distinguished themselves in their chosen field or in their community.

General Criteria for nomination/award:

Individuals must distinguish themselves in one or more of the following categories:


  • Contributions to Society/Community
  • The individual has made an unusual commitment and an outstanding contribution to the North Penn Community, or society in general, as result of work done in their given professional field, commitment to volunteering or charitable work, or other philanthropic endeavors.


  • Character
  • The individual possesses consistent qualities that demonstrate his/her reputation, individuality, kindness, humanity, and moral solitude.


  • Dedication to Pennbrook/North Penn Community
  • The individual has shown a consistent and apparent dedication to Pennbrook and the North Penn Community.


  • Courage in the Face of Adversity
  • The Individual has shown the quality of courage in adversity, exhibiting exemplary grace through obstacle(s), misfortune(s), and/or barrier(s), in life.
